She is the most personable photographer I've ever worked with (and while we are friends,) I know for a fact that you can feel this way about her upon meeting her for the first time! My sweet little Avery decided not to cooperate for her newborn photos, and Jenny came back the next day to shoot them again. How do I even start?... First off, Jenny did an amazing job on not only photographing my family but really capturing their personalities. She has a great creative eye and can spot a great photo opportunity before it even happens. Two words: Natural. Talent. & she's got it! My fiance and I are using Jenny for all of our wedding events. We took our engagement photos, and I just finished my bridal shoot a couple weeks ago. She is great at making us relax and have a good time. Both photo shoots were so much fun. I forgot I was having my picture taken at some points. I am not sure if I can put into words how special Jenny made me feel during my bridal portraits. I took the pictures a year after my wedding and never could have dreamed how special they would end up being. Jenny is so professional in front of and behind the camera. She did amazing research to find the perfect spot to shoot the photos. I don't think I ever could have found the beautiful little ghost town she did, and I am beyond thankful for the dedication she gave in picking the location. During my shoot, she made me feel so pretty and "like a bride" all over again. She research poses and caught pictures of me being silly (which have turned out to be some of the favorites). It was so amazing to have Jenny at the birth of our second child. I had called Jenny to take newborn shots after Alayna arrived but she convinced me to have her come for the birth. I didn't like the idea at first. I couldn't imagine having someone I never met at the birth of my child let alone taking photos of the whole thing! She assured me that the photos would be beautiful and tasteful. I can't say how happy I was to have Jenny at the birth! She quickly became family and was with me throughout the ENTIRE process! I anticipated that Jonathan's senior pictures would be a challenge since he is very particular and slow to make decisions. When we walked to meet Jenny, I was impressed by her ease at moving Jonathan to different locations and poses. He did not give her a bit of challenge! Jenny is the kind of person who is AMAZING at anything she puts her mind (and heart) to. Jenny took our engagement photos (we had the pleasure of being her FIRST photoshoot!) She did an amazing job and was totally professional. She came with a HUGE list of potential poses (i even remember she had stick-figure drawn some of them out). I was so excited when we got our photos so quick after the shoot. They turned out better than i expected AND she fixed flaws that i was worried about. Jenny did an amazing job photographing my family. I was so worried about family pictures because my son was cranky for the 1st year of his life that I missed out on the memorable photo ops. When I heard that Jenny was doing photography I knew she would be patient and couldn't imagine anyone else taking our first family photos. She brought several props and had pose ideas, but also caught my family's personality in the candid poses. Would definately have her take more pictures in the future!
I found 2by2photography completely by accident. My usual photographer was not going to be able to take the pictures we needed, on short notice. Desperate, I scoured the web for suggestions, and the rest as they say is history. Not only was Jenny flexible, but her pricing was great. She was patient with my 3 month old, and had great ideas for the pictures themselves. The outcome was terrific, and had everyone ooh-ing and aah-ing over the pictures. I was stunned to see that Jenny had managed to capture the best poses in the few split seconds that my baby wasn't fussy.
Very importantly, Jenny is a wonderful Christian woman, and that is evident in all her dealings. We plan on having Jenny continue to take our baby's milestone pictures as we have been doing, but also important events. I really appreciate the fact that she prepares for the shoot beforehand, and not just wings it. She is always on time, and has fun props. Jenny recently took photos of my newborn baby girl sydni. They were amazing, and i was happy with every single one of them.
